My job is to enable my students to experience the joy of making music at the piano. I seek the approach that best speaks to the student's interests and abilities, then assign lessons according to the amount of practice time they are able to devote to the keyboard. In teaching them to listen carefully to the music they produce, I hope to give them the ability to develop a lifelong understanding and appreciation of music.
